“Married at First Sight” star Jessica Castro says that she was “very scared” of ex-husband Ryan De Nino. The reality star claimed that he threatened to kill her and her family.
Speaking to Us Weekly, Jessica’s lawyer revealed that she her client was terrified of Ryan. Based on the restraining order they have filed in court, Jessica claimed that Ryan had been making serious death treats against her and her family. Ryan allegedly told her that he will “break her into pieces” and make her family “disappear.”
The “Married at First Sight” couple decided to stay together at the season 2 finale. However, it seems like trouble started brewing after the social experiment. Jessica claimed that Ryan had been cheated on her since early this year. She said that Ryan had been blowing off their plans for Valentine’s Day, claiming that he was busy with work.
“So I didn’t see him. Not a card, not a nothing. A few weeks later, I find a Valentine’s Day card from another female at his apartment,” Jessica shared.
Jessica added that she was disappointed that Ryan was trying to make the relationship work with someone else. She admitted that there had been problems in the past but did not thought that they would end their relationship like this.
The Wrap reported that in the most recent “Married at First Sight” reunion episode, Jessica and Ryan were seen fighting over cheating allegations. Not to mention the disappearance of a $100 bill that someone got them as a wedding present. It was said that Jessica and Ryan have agreed that they would spend the money together, but Ryan decided to spend the cash even without telling her. The said episode was taped last month, even before Jessica filed for charges.
