“Married At First Sight,” the reality show series, couple Jason Knowles and Kate Stewart marriage has reportedly got nullified at a family court in London. Knowles and Stewart got married in February as a show concept, but their relationship surfaced cracks shortly after their marriage. The couple separated citing the reasons that Knowles willfully refused to consummate the marriage. Jason Knowles, professionally a financial advisor, married personal trainer Kate Stewart on the show on February 22. “Married At First Sight” is based on a concept of social experimenting where couples meet for the first time and agree to marry as per the concept.
However, the couples are allegedly paired by a panel of experts and they live together for a month after marriage. Later they can choose whether to stay married or divorce, the latest one came up for Knowles and Stewart.
According to MailOnline, the couple broke up shortly after two weeks of their marriage. Knowles stated that he never ever fancied Stewart. In counter to that Stewart said that it was really hard to live Knowles as he never consummated the marriage.
The 34-year-old Knowles went on to say that he used Tinder because he felt that the relationship is not going to work. The couple went on to gave a try and spent honeymoon in Ireland but the romantic angle was always missing between the two.
Jason Knowles was also found to be using dating application Tinder which was supposedly the reason of their break up initially. The family court judge Yvonne Gibson nullified the marriage on hearing the case.
The “Married At First Sight” spokesman termed the broke up as very unfortunate for the couple.
