The outcome of some weddings at the highly popular “Married at First Sight” TV show has been very awful and has hence left no chance for the producers to continue its telecast. The first season although witnessed a positive outcome, but at the end, majority of the couples who got married in the show ended up with divorce. Till now, neither there is any news of cancellation after the show throttled nor the producers had called for its continuation.
According to Day Herald, the fate was similar for the Denmark and Australia-based couples who tied their knots at the “Married at First Sight” shows. The panel was reportedly having renowned psychologists who used to understand their personalities and then the couples were gathered at a church on their wedding day where they would meet each other and tie the knot.
The newlyweds were expected to stay together and lead a life as husband and wife for a span of only six weeks. After that they were allowed to take the decision whether to continue the relationship or move apart.
Jessica Castro and Ryan De Nino, Jaclyn Methuen and Ryan Ranellone, and Davina Kullar and Sean Varricchio were the participants in “Married at First Sight” season 2 who had legally divorced. Varricchio and Kullar were the first couple who called it split just after a month of their marriage. Whereas the separation of Castro and Nino took place after Castro filed a complaint that Nino had threatened to harm her and her family members.
Another “Married at First Sight” season 2 couple Jason Knowles and Kate Stewart created the headline when they opted for separation even after living as husband and wife for less than two years. When Jason was asked for allegedly swindling Stewart, he boldly replied that he had not “consummated” the marriage because he knew very well that Stewart was never going to move ahead as his wife.
Chris Coelen, the executive producer recently said that they had a panel of relationship advisors and psychologists, but no one can give the guarantee of a successful relationship.
