Two is indeed better than one as Marvel is pitching for “Captain America” franchise visionaries and brothers Joe and Anthony Russo to helm the upcoming “Avengers” films. It will be the third and fourth installments. Continue reading for more details to this feature.
Robert Downey Jr. has been going back and forth with his statements when asked if Marvel Studios was going to create a fourth “Iron Man” film. At first, it was all confusing when he’s uttering how Iron Man is coming back, but there is no “Iron Man 4” in the pipe. Now, it’s all clear. There will really be no “Iron Man 4” movie, but Iron Man will be starring in “Captain America 3.” The surfacing of such information confirms the underlying speculations of many fans about the studio undertaking the storyline of "Phase 3: Civil War" and who are better suiting to be the helmsmen for the ultimate Marvel Cinematic Universe plot-twist than the brothers who profusely presented the shocking disbanding of S.H.I.E.L.D. earlier this year?
Screen Rant reports that notable sources of Badass Digest managed to shell out information that the talented Russo brothers are carrying the strong possibility of directing the coming installments for “The Avengers." Such sources are furthering their reports and it would seem that they are already going through initial phases in signing up for the negotiation in directing both films. If this is proven true, this only solidifies the fact that Marvel is keen on looking to lockdown their future plans.
According to Total Film, the "Phase 3: Civil War" is centered upon the conflict-ridden movement of the US government to pursue a legislation which requires all superpower-wielding individuals to register to uphold their purpose of service. The presence of the law then caused a rift among all superheroes as they side with it or against it. Heading the opposition is Captain America and solidifying the movement is "Iron Man." The presence of the whole pro-runners and cons-drifters shall serve as the main catalyst that jumpstarts the ultimate battle between many of Marvel’s superheroes.
Whether such speculations are real or not, one cannot deny the fact that the Russo brothers are the first directors of Marvel Studios to surpass the two-movie peat. As they are gearing up for the production of “Captain America 3,” it’s safe to say that the studio are definitely amenable to their creativity, and they are more than fitted to pick up where Joss Whedon will be ending “Avengers: Age of Ultron” on May 1, 2015.
That concludes our Russo brothers feature. Keep tabs on Movie News Guide (MNG) for more updates in the entertainment industry.
