The winter finale of ABC’s “MARVEL’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 2 Episode 10 “What They Become” changed the entire face of the show. Skye’s (Chloe Bennet) true nature was revealed, which simultaneously launched a whole new aspect of the MARVEL Cinematic Universe — the “Inhumans.” Thanks to that high-octane and action-packed episode, fans and viewers are currently on the edge of their seats, eagerly waiting for the show’s return on March 3, 2015.

In order to ease the agony of the wait, aside from the eight-episode “MARVEL’s Agent Carter,” Marvel has announced a new addition to the “S.H.I.E.L.D.” cast, veteran actor Edward James Olmos. Spoiler TV also shared the title of the next episode coming in March, and Comic Book Resources News managed to sit down with Olmos and talked to him about his upcoming role.

Edward James Olmos is popularly known for his roles on television shows such as “Hill Street Blues,” “Miami Vice” and “Battlestar Galactica.”

In the show, he will be portraying a character named Robert Gonzales, whose appearance will have “massive repercussions” for S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and his current team.

According to Comic Book Resources News, in their interview with Olmos, the actor told them that he will be having a great and short arc on the show that will span from three to five or six episodes. Regarding his character, he remained cryptic and told them that when Gonzales smiles, the whole world smiles with him.

Spoiler TV also recently posted the title of the awaited episode that will open up the second half of the season. The eleventh episode of the show’s second season will be entitled “Aftershocks.”
