According to the official MARVEL website, the exciting new third season of the television show began a few days ago. To prove that they mean business, two “behind the scenes” photos were posted on their website. One photo had the series’ Executive Producer Jed Whedon and one of the show’s director’s, Vincent Masiano testing out a smoke machine, and another picture showed one of the S.H.I.E.L.D. bases doors covered in “caution” yellow tape.
Also, according to another article on the official website of MARVEL, Agent Skye (Chloe Bennet) is now Agent Daisy Johnson, both in name, and in looks. Bennet had her hair cut shorter in order to resemble her comic book namesake.
The third season will also see a new addition to the team, as Deadline has reported that actor Andrew Howard will be portraying a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent named Banks. They will help them with their new missions, which include searching for powered people who could join Daisy’s new team of “Secret Warriors.”
Banks, according to Deadline, will be a “major recurring” role in the third season.
