Marvel also reported that the first-ever trailer was released on the official Netflix website, but on Marvel’s official website, the trailer can be divided into two parts. It features Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) going to confession while at the background, several scenes of the series, and several characters are shown.
Matt Murdock, who lawyer by day and vigilante by night, went to have his confession heard by a priest in a nearby church. There, he told the priest that it had been a long time since he had gone to confession. He had only gone back because he had thinking lately about the difference between good and evil. He then told the priest that he was actually trying to seek forgiveness for what he has not done yet, but will be doing, and justified everything by telling the priest that all he wanted to do was to make the city “a better place” than it is at the moment. In the background, while he confessed, several scenes were shown.
Aside from the scene of the confessional and him talking to a priest, it gave us a first glimpse of Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) who met someone by the docks. It also showed Matt going around the streets and it was shown how different and enhanced his other senses were. It showed several scenes of the street the way that he senses it, and it also let us hear how hypersensitive his hearing is. It also featured Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) and showed Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) looking out the window. And two other scenes featured a girl standing over a dead body, and another featured Stick (Glenn Scott) getting into an elevator. There was also shot of Matt putting on his mas. He did it right before he went out to fight the villains who were polluting the streets with their drugs and thugs. Several fight scenes were shown, and it was also shown that he was successful in tossing a man from off the roof onto a car below, with Daredevil looking down at him from his perch on top of the building.
