The “Masterchef Junior” Season 2 finale was intense! Samuel and Logan were put to their final test, and one walked away as the season’s winner. Read on for our full recap.

Family, friends and competitors were present during the Season 2 finale of “Masterchef Junior” to boost the confidence of the remaining two contestants: Samuel and Logan. Their task was to make a three-course meal within 90 minutes, and they started with appetizers.

Samuel cooked Southeast Asian chicken oysters with pickled radish and cucumber paired with spicy crisp rice. The presentation was awesome, but when it comes to the taste, Joe and Gordon didn’t like it that much due to the overpowering taste of vinegar.

On the other hand, Logan cooked grilled spot prawns with smoked saffron aioli, and the judges loved it. However, at the same time, they commented that there was too much olive flavor in the dish. Nevertheless, these kids did an amazing job.

The second round brought in their entrees. Samuel and Logan chose to cook fish. Samuel cooked a seared arctic char with coconut saffron curry with mushrooms and noodles, while Logan opted for a salt-crusted branzino chimichurri and roasted vegetables.

Then came in their desserts. Samuel made a kaffir lime panna cotta with passion fruit and raspberry, while Logan whipped up a meyer lemon madeleine with goat cheese mousse.

So who won?

Logan won this season of “Masterchef Junior,” and he got to take home $100,000.
