Marvel fans has really got the balls rolling in the cinemas for the coming years with Marvel giving the hint that “Avengers 3” will be taking over the May 2018 slot for a new film release. Read on to learn more about this scoop.
Marvel certainly went all out at the San Diego Comic-Con 2014. The president of Marvel Studios Productions, Kevin Feige, held nothing back with the way they unveiled nine unannounced projects that already have release dates within the years 2016 to 2019.
We all know that “The Avengers: Age of Ultron” is still in the production phase, so it is only normal for us not to expect that a third movie will be getting the green light with its production as early as now. However, Feige would like to think otherwise as he already bears the vague idea on the creation and the release of the third “Avengers” movie installment.
“We’d like to stick to three years between ‘Avengers’ movies,” said Feige during a group interview at San Diego Comic-Con 2014, as published on Screen Rant.
The unannounced movie title release dates are as follows: July 28, 2017, Nov. 3, 2017, May 4, 2018, July 6, 2018, Nov. 2, 2018 and May 3, 2019
In the feature by Zap2it, “Avengers 3” holds a huge chance in assuming the May 4, 2018 release date as it coincides with the pattern of the first two “Avengers” films, basing it on Feige’s hopes of getting “Avengers” released every three years. However, these are all just speculations as the president dares not divulge any information regarding such matters. The only confirmation he has given is that fans can certainly expect a movie from the existing franchises and a release of a whole new movie franchise each year.
Sure enough, if Marvel does not release “The Avengers 3” on the said date, fans can still be sure that there will definitely be a third film for the franchise as there are still other dates to signal its release.
The confirmation of the third “Avengers” movie is set, and it seems like it will also be getting more characters to add, if they will happen to lose some on the upcoming second one. Breathecast added that there might be a possible director change on the third film. This is all because Marvel studios created the impression that no director has worked with a movie for more than two times. Could it really be possible that they will assume such tradition and set aside Joss Whedon to hire a different one? Only the future can tell. One thing is for sure, you can guarantee that Robert Downey Jr. will still be retaining his role as Iron Man, but it would appear that this might be his last in bringing life to the superhero billionaire, playboy, philanthropist.
That sums up the latest scoop on the possible release date of “Avengers 3.” Keep tabs on Movie News Guide (MNG) for updated information in the entertainment world.
