“Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials” is only a few months away from its release and yet fans are already anticipating for the latest trailer to be revealed in public since its recent release at the CinemaCon. Read on to learn more about this scoop.
“Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials” trailer premiered at the recently concluded 20th Century Fox CinemaCon held at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on Thursday, April 23. While most fans already have an idea as to what the trailer looks like, much thanks to several news outlets that released several hints of the sneak preview, fans still cannot wait to see what the second installment to the franchise holds for Thomas (Dylan O’Brien), Teresa (Kaya Scodelario) and the rest of the Gladers, as they enter another maze.
Well, it looks like fans will only need to wait for 5 more days before the trailer for “The Scorch Trials” will be released in public. According to Projection List, the expected release for the trailer of the second installment to the “Maze Runner” series is on May 15, 2015.The outlet cited that the trailer, which is a minute and 44 seconds long, coincides with the premiere of “Pitch Perfect 2” starring Anna Kendrick.
Fashion & Style noted that 20th Century Fox has not yet confirmed or denied the rumors about the expected release of the trailer for the “Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials,” but author James Dashner previously hinted on his Twitter account that fans will not have that much time to wait for the trailer to be released online.
“Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials” picks up right where the first movie left off with Thomas, Teresa and the rest of the Gladers set towards another maze, but this time, they will meet a group called the Cranks, which will be led by a man named Jorge (played by “Breaking Bad” star Giancarlo Esposito).
MTV released several hints on what fans can expect to see from “The Scorch Trials” trailer including a “steamy kiss between Thomas and Teresa.”
