“The Scorch Trials” movie is only months away from hitting the theatres and fans are already craving for another sneak peek at what lies ahead for Thomas (Dylan O’Brien), Teresa (Kaya Scodelario), Newt (Thomas Brodie-Sangster), Minho (Ki Hong Lee) and the rest of the Gladers, as they enter the next phase of WCKD’s experiment.
The first official trailer for the sequel to “The Maze Runner” movie was released a month ago and while it was enough to increase the anticipation for the film, many fans were left wondering when the second trailer would be released online.
The Projection List cited a possible release date for the second official trailer for “Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials.” According to the outlet, the second trailer is expected to be released on July 24, 2015, next to the release of the movie adaptation of John Green’s best selling novel, “Paper Towns.”
20th Century Fox has not yet announced any specific dates on the release of the sequel’s second trailer; however, an exclusive image was published on Entertainment Weekly, which showed Thomas’ shocked look at something that viewers have yet to see in the movie.
“A lot of people died, some of them his best friends. And he might be marching these kids again into dangerous situations. So Thomas has a lot of guilt resting on his shoulders,” said director Wes Ball.
