Meadow Walker, daughter of the late "Fast and Furious" film franchise star Paul Walker, has posted a poignant homage to the late actor to mark the one-year anniversary of his tragic death in a tragic car crash. The 16-year-old daughter shared a flashback picture on Instagram of her as a toddler being held on her father. According to E! Online, the tribute comes a year after the car accident, which claimed the lives of 40-year-old Walker and his friend, Roger Rodas. On Nov. 30, 2013, Rodas lost control of the Porsche, and the care strike a pole in Valencia, north of Los Angeles. A year after his passing, Paul Walker's friends and family shared touching photos, thoughts and memories of the actor.
Meadow, who lives with her mother Rebecca Soteros, is the late actor's only child. Shortly before his death, Meadow had moved from Hawaii to LA to live with her father. A few weeks before his demise, Walker revealed to Us Weekly about their new living preparations.
"I'm glad I had her at 25. Because at 40 and 15, we're matching up sweet. It's just working. It's perfect," revealed Walker to Us Weekly.
Walker’s close friend and "Fast and Furious" co-star Vin Diesel also shared a tribute to Paul, posting a photo to Facebook of his daughter, Hania, with the actor and put into words a poignant and anecdote in the caption:
"He was a part of so much in my life… long personal talks with my mother or babysitting the Alpha Angel… he took a certain pride in being uncle Pablo… after all, we were filming a scene in FF4 the day she was born, and he being the only one I told, encouraged me to go in and cut the umbilical cord. He was an important part of my transition into fatherhood… that healthy family member, with the most positive outlook on life. A year ago today… a year of mourning… and his absence still leaves me speechless. We miss you Pablo…" wrote Diesel on his Facebook account.
His venerated charity Reach Out Worldwide continues to thrive in his absence.
"ROWW continues to be, to function, to help others even after our primary contributor, my brother, Paul Walker has passed," "I know he would be so stoked to know that. ROWW changed his life, and he was so proud of it," told Cody Walker told E! News.
