“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” Film Synopsis:
The film is the latest live-action adaptation since the first three films debuted in the 1990’s. It is based on Peter Laird’s comic book characters.

New York City is in need of heroes when Shredder (William Fichtner) and his Foot Clan took over the city. Crimes are now rampant. The citizens are not safe anymore.

In a subway, budding TV reporter April O’Neil (Megan Fox) witnessed criminals getting beaten by turtle-looking hybrids. Her curiosity got the better of her and she started recording with her phone.

They are actually the crime-fighting team of mutant turtles named after Renaissance artists: Leonardo (Pete Ploszek), Noel Fisher (Michelangelo), Jeremy Howard (Donatello) and Alan Ritchson (Raphael).

Another scene shows glimpses of the creation of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. April is seen talking with William Fichtner’s character. He actually worked for April’s father and also the man behind the mask of The Shedder.

The origins of our heroes are also getting an upgrade. This time, our heroes are created in a lab that specializes in fighting criminals. The first Turtles from the previous film versions were once ordinary turtles living in the sewer who got mutated through radioactive waste.
With the help of April and her wacky cameraman Vernon Fenwick, they try to put a stop to the crime-infested city before its too late.

Rotten Tomatoes reported that 96% or equivalent to 19,274 users wanted to see the movie on its August premiere.
