In an interview with TV Guide, “The Mentalist” creator Bruno Heller shared that there would be a possibility for the development of Jane and Lisbon’s relationship. Their tandem would start to be endangered because Pike will propose to Lisbon.
“It’s a romantic finale rather than a suspense finale.” Heller told TV Guide.
