“The Mentalist” Season 6 Episode 19 “Brown Eyed Girls” Recap:

“The Mentalist” Season 6 Episode 10 “Brown Eyed Girls,” which was aired on April 27, 2014, began with Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) following a seemingly suspicious man. The man previously dropped his bag of goods containing bandages and even, duct tapes and rags. He refused Jane’s help to gather up his things while still looking nervous. Then, Jane phoned Lisbon for help.

Elsewhere, Teresa Lisbon (Robin Tunney) was actually having a chill bonding session with her latest boy friend Agent Marcus Pike (guest star Pedro Pascal). Lisbon learned that Pike also plays in a band and he invited her. Lisbon ignored Jane’s first few calls and answered when he told her that there’s an abducted woman. Lisbon immediately took a taxi.

Lisbon and Jane met near the suspicious man’s apartment. The man denied there’s something going on inside his apartment until Jane heard a muffled sound of a girl. They found out that inside was a bleeding girl. The man told them that he didn’t hurt the girl and he was just trying to help her. Unfortunately, the girl died after mumbling “bow and arrow” to Jane.

The man was taken to the FBI headquarters for questioning. They found out that he had some existing restraining orders from stalking women. He purposely told them that he was trying to fix the girl and was interrupted by Lisbon and Jane. He furiously blamed them for the girl’s death. Eventually, he was found innocent and Jane continued his investigations.

Jane and his team found another girl who’s hidden in a shack near the location where they found the first one. It was revealed that the women who were getting abducted answered a casting call for modeling European brands. Their contact was a man who goes by the name of Jessie. FBI tracked down James “Jessie” O’Connor, but his records were clean.

FBI found a truck where there are a lot of girls inside. The other truck was already on its way to smuggle the first group from the border of Mexico. The investigation led to two brothers who worked as businessmen. They are the ones who lead the shipment of the girls to Middle East and Asia.

Then, Jane and Dennis Abbott (Rockmond Dunbar) posed as the truck drivers and met with the brothers’ employees. They were successfully taken to the headquarters. They warned them about their mastermind and the things he can do to them. Later, “Jesse” was found dead in his home by other members of FBI.

Meanwhile, Lisbon had an almost heart-to-heart talk with Abbott, who learned about Pike’s promotion. He asked her if Jane knew about it and she responded with the “psychic” line. Abbott told her that it’s only pretend and Jane might not know anything if she will leave with Pike. In the end, it was revealed that they are working for a certain Mr. Ridley.
