Universal Pictures recently launched the official teaser trailer of the new Steve Jobs movie starring Michael Fassbender as the Apple Innovator and co-founder Steve Jobs.
As reported by Coming Soon, the new Steve Jobs movie headed by Michael Fassbender will be focusing on the visionary’s life somewhere around the year 1998 when the iMac was introduced. The film will reportedly revolve around three key products that the company launched. Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen and Jeff Daniels are co-starring in the movie and can be seen in the trailer.
After lots of speculations and many A-lister actors like Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale reportedly stepping in for the coveted role, it was ultimately Michael Fassbender who is going to bring life to the character in this biopic. The movie is being directed by Danny Boyle who in turn replaced David Fincher who was earlier roped in to direct the movie. David Fincher’s exit from the movie was reportedly because of some contractual negotiations that didn’t fall correctly. The movie is written by Aaron Sorkin who sought help of Steve Wozniak for historical accuracy as the story revolves around a digital revolution that the world witnessed.
Aaron Sorkin has adapted the screenplay of the movie from the official biography of the innovator written by Walter Isaacson. This particular project is said to be a long awaited project by the screenwriter who is credited for giving audiences some of the most popular movies of all time. Steve Wozniak was all praises for Seth Rogen’s portrayal of him and believes that he will do justice to the role.
The new Steve Jobs movie is all set to release on October 9.
