Miranda Lambert to skip American Music Awards (AMA) because of Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani? Read on!
The “Little Red Wagon” singer, Miranda Lambert is up for a big award in American Music Awards (AMA), however, there are reports that she won’t be attending the event because of Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. How true is that?
According to Hollywood Life, Lambert is up for an award in the said event. The songstress is set to compete in the Favorite Female Country Artist category and she’ll be competing against Carrie Underwood and Kelsea Ballerini, yet it seems like she has no plans to attend the awards night!
Reports say that while Lambert is up for a big award, her ex-husband’s new beau was tapped to be one of the singers to perform at the event. Meaning, there’s a big possibility that Shelton will be sitting at the audience to show his support for his new apple of the eye. However, rumor has it that the “Sangria” singer hasn’t confirmed his presence in AMA.
The site learned that based on the seating arrangement for AMA, the 32-year-old songstress’ name was not included in the awards night despite from the fact that she’s competing for the Favorite Female Country Artist of the year.
Hollywood Life claimed that it seems like the reason why Miranda Lambert decided not to show up in the upcoming event tonight because the songstress wouldn’t want an awkward run-in.
On the other hand, when it comes to the seating chart, Entertainment Tonight reported that Stefani will be sitting next to Shelton’s best buddy, Luke Bryan—in the front and center.
Extra, meanwhile, speculate that there’s a possibility that Shelton will be sitting between his girlfriend and his best friend as the site reasoned out that when the site caught a video footage of the seating arrangement for American Music Awards, the seat between the “Hollaback Girl” singer and Bryan is empty.
“It would make sense for Shelton to sit between the two!” Extra noted.
