Recently, the beauty queen sat down with Associated Press and shared her experiences during her reign as Miss Universe 2013. She has talked about her evolution from a simple girl to a beauty queen.
“Before all this, I was just a simple girl, no makeup, no hair, no heels, just a normal girl finishing my education. This just changed my life. This made me feel confidently beautiful. … Now I’m happy with myself every day. I learned to be happy. I grew up in every way, as a daughter, as a sister, as a girlfriend, as a friend. It transformed my life,” Isler said in an interview with the Associated Press.
Isler was named Best Dressed at the 2013 Latin Grammy Awards after presenting an award in Las Vegas. She also presented the award for Artist of the Year at the Latin Billboards.
