After Steve Harvey stripped Miss Colombia of her crown which went to the actual winner of the show, Miss Philippines, many fear that the hard blow to Miss Colombia could lead to mental breakdown.
Ariadna Gutierre, otherwise known as Miss Colombia, went through a huge heartbreak in front of millions of people when Steve Harvey wrongly announced her the winner of Miss Universe contest.
Fans of the beauty are working hard to cheer Gutierrez, who according to them is still the winner. Important political figures of Colombia have also expressed their concern about Miss Colombia’s mental health condition. Gutierrez’s tearful expression while she was stripped of the crown has made their worries even bigger.
Colombia’s consul general Maria Isabel Nieto told The Post that she thinks the event left a dark impression on Miss Colombia’s mind and that she is definitely affected by this.
Nieto said if she would have been in her position, she would have taken quite a while to recover. Juan Manuel Santos, Colombia’s president mentioned that he thinks Gutierrez is “still Miss Universe” because it was she who received the crown on her head first.
However, though it might take some time to recover from the initial shock it seems that Miss Colombia is recovering from the shock. The Colombian beauty has spoken to the press after she recovered from the initial shock and said some positive words. Gutierrez also expressed her thanks to all her fans for voting her.
“Everything happens for a reason, so I’m happy,” Gutierrez said.
Probably thinking like former co-owner Donald Trump who offered the solution that both of them should be crowned should make Miss Colombia feel better. There are others also such as Miss Germany who thinks Miss Colombia should have been the winner.
We hope with the immense support of so many people, Miss Colombia would bounce back soon and chances of her suffering from mental breakdown is not there.
