It has been confirmed that "Today" host Natalie Morales and MSNBC anchor Thomas Roberts are all set to host the 2015 Miss Universe beauty pageant on Jan. 25, 2015 in Doral, Miami, Florida.Read on for further details.
Morales previously hosted the popular beauty pageant in 2010 and 2011. Meanwhile, Roberts co-hosted the pageant in 2013. Recently, Manny Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum revealed that the eight-division champion will head to Miami, Florida in January to serve as judge in the 2015 Miss Universe Pageant. In an interview with the Telegraph, Bob Arum, Pacquiao's promoter, revealed that the Filipino has been invited to join the judging panel of Miss Universe 2015. Pacquiao will be the seventh Filipino to serve as a judge in the Miss Universe pageant, following "Miss Saigon" star Lea Salonga in 2011.
A total of 90 contestants from all over the world will compete for the Miss Universe crown on Jan. 25, 2014 at the FIU Arena in Florida. They will be judged in three categories: swimsuit, evening gown, and question and answer. Reigning Miss Universe Venezuelan Gabriela Isler will pass her crown to the propitious conqueror.
The pageant will air live from the FIU Arena in Florida. IMG will executive produce the three-hour event, which will simulcast in Spanish on Telemundo. Steve Mayer is an executive producer.
Miss Universe organization is owned by American tycoon Donald Trump. Trump also owns the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants. Tickets are now available for the Miss Universe 2014 pageant, preliminary competition and dress rehearsal.
