“Awkward” fans, we are getting closer to season 5 and unfortunately, this is going to be the last time we are going to see Jenna as she goes through her last few weeks in high school. That’s sad news, yet there’s nothing we can do because the show had a good 4 seasons. So, when’s it going to be? Read below to get the full details and some spoilers, too!

MTV has just recently announced “Awkward” Season 5 premiere date along with other of their shows. The fifth season of “Awkward” will air on August 31, 2015.

When the series return, Jenna only has a few weeks left in high school and Jenna and her friends are going to make the most out of it. The fact that everyone have figured out their next step after high school also means that anything can happen, which is really interesting and exciting! And we know that in Jenna’s world, that is indeed very possible.

The network teased that this season, we will get a taste of big senior year milestones like prom, graduation and senior pranks. Of course, there’s that one lingering question that we are all dying to know: Will Jenna end up with Matty?

According to Chris Albeghini and Mike Chessler, executive producers of the show Jenna will be in a several confrontations, “she will be confronted by all of the guys that she’s been with. It’s a confrontation – or, actually, more like an intervention.” Well, isn’t that interesting? What do these guys have to say about Jenna, then?
