The Ghanaian Hiplife artist Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, popularly known as Mzbel, is again in the headlines. After causing controversy for espousing anti-theist beliefs in Ghana, she is now back to inform her critics that she is not a porn star. Continue reading to know what Mzbel actually wants to convey to the media.

According to Star FM Online, Mzbel has brought forward her logic to the Ghanaians that if they could respect the likes of Madonna, Nicki Minaj, Kim Kardashian, Beyonce and Kathy Perry, then they must give in return the same (respect) to the Ghanaian women celebrities and stop tagging them with negative and bad stuff.

“With all due respect, I will like to make it clear to everyone that I am not a Porn Star. I am very confident and comfortable with my body even after having a child. The suggestive photos u see of me are strictly art and act and that is showbiz,” Mzbel said in her post.

Ghana Web revealed Mzbel’s comments that claimed things were turning bad because of how she was launched into the entertainment industry. And that was the reason why she decided to rebrand.

“We tried to rebrand to suit my corporate audience because those were the places I performed a lot and make most of my money from,” Mzbel further added.

But unfortunately Mzbel could realize that her endeavor totally throttled on the way and the people already tagged her as a sex icon. It’s the nature of the common people to discover new ways to insult the innocent and tag him/her with negative things.

“We are trying to correct it, and people will continue to tag you with negative stuff and it’s bad. So I had to make it clear that I’ not a porn star. I’m a Ghanaian artist, and I’m very confident and comfortable with my body,” Mzbel ended with it.
