“Nashville” Season 2 Episode 20 “Your Good Girl’s Gonna Go Bad” Recap:
“Nashville” Season 2 Episode 20 “Your Good Girl’s Gonna Go Bad” began with Avery Barkley (Jonathan Jackson) accompanying Scarlett O’Connor (Clare Bowen) to the hospital after her breakdown due to alcohol and pills. Scarlett was sent to Nashville in order to recuperate, where Rayna and Deacon are waiting for her arrival. It seems Rayna (Connie Britton) and the others are supportive for Scarlett (Clare Bowen) despite her recent breakdown. Meanwhile, Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) takes on a downward spiral.
Beverly, Scarlett’s mother, arrived and informed the doctor that having a psychotic breakdown runs in the family. Beverly had an argument with Deacon Claybourne (Charles Esten) about Scarlett’s bad condition. They agreed to give their support for Scarlett. After some time, Rayna and Deacon had also made up and had a serious talk.
Juliette, on the other hand, was blamed by Rayna but she was stopped by Deacon. She felt she’s the cause of all of it when she heard about Rayna and Deacon’s conversation. A devastated Juliette left the place and wanted to forget about it.
Will Lexington (Chris Carmack) was tapped by Gina Romano to join her newest project, a reality TV show. Though Layla Grant (Aubrey Peeples) approved of it, a hesitant Will thought of Jeff’s advice.
Jeff Fordham (Oliver Hudson) was recently turned down by Gunnar about Jeff’s publishing house proposition. It was due to the fact that Jeff called Scarlett a loon due to her recent breakdown. He had crossed paths with Juliette and they both drown their sorrows with booze, a bit of dancing and sex.
In the end, Scarlett was given the permission to leave the hospital. She admitted to Rayna and Deacon that she doesn’t want to continue with the Highway 65 and to be a star.
