Here’s another walk down memory lane for you fans of “Nashville.” In anticipation for “Nashville” Season 3, here’s MNG’s “Nashville” recap of Season 2 Episode 21 “All or Nothing with Me.” This is particularly notable because not only is this “Nashville” Season 2’s penultimate episode, it also got the presidential treatment courtesy of U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama!

“Nashville” Season 2 Episode 21 “All or Nothing with Me” began with the aftermath of Scarlett’s on-stage breakdown in “Nashville” Season 2 Episode 20 “Your Good Girl’s Gonna Go Bad.”

The news about Luke Wheeler (Will Chase) that he got injured in Afghanistan surfaced. Rayna James (Connie Britton) will head the organization of a charity event at Ford Campbell. In order for it to succeed, she had sought some help from the better half of President Barrack Obama, none other than U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama and former “American Idol” contestant Kellie Pickler.

On the other hand, the men in Rayna’s life had different experiences after learning about the truth.

Deacon Claybourne (Charles Esten) will have a special bonding experience with Rayna’s daughter, Maddie (Lennon Stella). Can they forgive Rayna for not telling about their real connection? Meanwhile, Teddy Conrad (Eric Close) felt alienated with the members of his family with Rayna.

Following their sorrow-filled encounter, Juliette felt guilty when Jeff (Oliver Hudson) threatened her to tell Avery (Jonathan Jackson) about it. How would Avery react if he learns about the truth?

Little did they know, Gunnar Scott (Sam Palladio) had seen them and learned about their secret. He was concerned that Avery did not know anything. He was then urged by Zoe to separate his profession with his personal life.

Meanwhile, it seemed that Will Lexington (Chris Carmack) did not heed Jeff’s advice and went on with his TV project. He will be joined by Layla Grant (Aubrey Peeples) in a reality TV series created by Gina Romero.

Entertainment Weekly (EW) reported about First Lady Obama’s cameo on “Nashville” Season 2 Episode 21 “All or Nothing with Me.” It is the second time that the First Lady had been a guest star on TV in just a few weeks. She was previously seen at the “Parks and Recreations” Season Finale, which was aired on April 24, 2014.

This episode also focused on their charity performance for the military troops.

Huffington Post interviewed “Nashville” star Connie Britton who played the starring role of Rayna James. She shared about Michelle Obama’s cameo role in the episode and how exciting it is.

“Michelle Obama recorded a message for the troops, so it’s a pretty exciting episode,” Britton told Huffington Post.”
