Natalia Tena might be playing a serious character but she’s totally a different person backstage. And a glimpse of that was seen at Auckland where she was attending this year’s Armageddon Expo. Read to know about this less known side of Natalia Tena.
The 30 years old actress was in Auckland for the first time and was enjoying to the fullest. The actress said that that it was amazing to be in Auckland, she tried some of the amazing wines, got indulge into some of the outdoor activities, walked a lot, went for swimming, collected the sea shells and will buy some loads of Manuka honey before leaving.
In a chit chat with Stuff, the British actress shared some personal experiences about the time when she was first casted as Nymphadora Tonks in the Harry Potter film series.
“I’d never been a part of something that big…this was different, obviously. I didn’t really know that much about it, I hadn’t read the books so I wasn’t that daunted until I went to a few of the costume fittings,”says Natalia.
She further says, “Usually it takes – you know, once or twice a week. This was like a four month costume fitting and I was like, ok, this is really serious. This is a whole other level.”
Natalia was seriously unaware of the fact how big it was going to be until the movie released and people asked about her character, and even today! She says that it surprises her when people ask about Nymphadora Tonks because it has been such a long time and it makes her feel like another time.
Presently, Natalia Tena is seen as the wildling Osha in the HBO series “Game of Thrones.” Talking about her character, she said that Osha is a fighter, she is good on her feet, and she does have a very strong centre. She’s had to kill someone that she loved. It’s that firmness, but at the same time a heart of gold.
While this whole conversation, the question asked from each GoT member was passed on to Natalia as well but before she could spill the beans, people from the show said, “No questions about season six of the show.”
Although Natalia jokingly said that you could ask but I won’t be telling anything. This straightaway mean that season six of “Game of Thrones” holds something that is really amazing and worth asking.
