Los Angeles Clippers are off to a positive start. With the addition of Paul Pierce and DeAndre Johnson, the team is looking really strong. Fans are so positive that the team will do well next season that some of them have started whispering about dethroning the Golden Warriors. Will they succeed? Only time will tell. Read on.
Clippers look like they have a good show on their hands. The squadron is ready to take on the NBA season with grit and determination. The key player here would obviously be Johnson who is looking sharp and ready to take challenges.
Team veteran Jamal Crawford, told the press that they are going to put their hearts into building the team. “Anything worth doing is worth working for,” he declared to the press.
Head coach Doc Rivers, was made to deal with many dissenters in the past, but everybody generally assumes that challenges from the past has made him competent and silenced his critics.
On the Media day for the team, the point guard told the press that he was sorry that the team had not won a championship yet. But they were learning from every loss and that was the important thing here.
Crawford told the press that the team had been through two devastating losses in the playoffs the last two years, but he thought that once the team gets to where it wants to go, it’ll be that much sweeter because of what they went through to get the prize.
The team went through a period of intensive soul searching that bordered depression after the two devastating years of failure. Crawford declared that the failures will always remain at the back of their minds. They will try to make sure that they learn from the experience and make sure that they don’t make the same mistakes again.
Here’s hoping that the Clippers’ will hang their banner high this time!
