Pau Gasol, the older brother of fellow NBA player Marc Gasol, might be out of the Chicago Bulls. Read further to know more information about the NBA trade rumor.
According to SB Nation, Chicago Bulls has just substituted the team’s coach Tom Thibodeau with Fred Hoiberg. The source further suggested that the team should consider making a substantial change in its squad. This has lead to the rumor that the team might think about replacing Gasol who has joined them last season.
However, the Chicago Bulls are not yet engaged in any official NBA trade deals for replacing Gasol. It is the right time for the team to involve in the deal, reported Franchise Herald.
If the Bulls involve in trade, it is expected that they would replace Gasol and Kirk Hinrich with Sacramento Kings’ Willie Cauley-Stein and Darren Collison. It is also believed that the move would be advantageous for the Sacramento Kings as well since Gasol is also a veteran player who would be a fit for the core needs of the young and immature team.
However, it seems that the Gasol NBA trade rumor would not show up. Indeed, the two-time NBA champion was called as the Most Valuable Player in the Spanish National Cup championship game in 2001.
The Spanish player has been suffering from different infections because of chronic sinusitis, due to which he even missed a game at Minnesota last year. Now, he feels better and rejuvenated after undergoing the sinus surgery this off-season.
“It worked out really well; I’m breathing better,” said Gasol, making it clear that we could expect a positive change in his game.
Will Chicago Bulls really involve in an NBA trade to send Pau Gasol? Let us wait and see. However, do not hesitate to leave your thoughts in the comments section.
