The NBA trade rumors pointed out that there is possibility for Brooklyn Nets center to trade Brook Lopez to Oklahoma City Thunder (OKC) in exchange for Enes Kanter. Read on to find out more details.
According to International Business Times, Brooklyn Nets is planning to trade three players before the deadline. It is possible that Brook Lopez could be one among them.
Lopez is definitely an impressive player as he is one of the best centers in the NBA. His incredible performance with average score of “19.5 points and 8.4 rebounds in 13 games” makes him a player with high trade value. Lopez has greater possibility to compete for an NBA championship.
It is expected that Lopez “could offer a lot to a team,” and that the Nets could get a huge value in exchange for Lopez if the trade happens as the 27-years-old center player has high trade value, reported Sports Blog. However, it seems that the player’s trade value could lower potentially because of his injury history, reported to Real GM.
Based on a report from YIBADA, Oklahoma City Thunder seems to be a perfect fit for Lopez. Even the Thunder expressed their interest with the player while the Nets planned to trade him, earlier this year. Indeed, the team was very near to get the player for Reggie Jackson who is now playing for Detroit Pistons.
However, whom would the Thunder consider giving up in exchange for Lopez if the Nets trade the player? Well, according to Real GM trade checker, OKC would offer Enes Kanter to the Nets in return for Lopez. The source also reported that a straight deal is possible.
However, if the Thunder considers trading Kanter, the team should get his approval before making a deal, as the player has just signed an offer sheet.
