NBA Trade Rumors: Hassan Whiteside to Exit Miami Heat?

The Miami Heat has been exposed to trade rumors ever since the NBA offseason. It all started with Mario Chalmers and Chris Andersen’s name, which eventually resulted in the former’s exit from the team. Though Chris’ future remains unknown, another Miami Heat’s player’s name has come up and its Hassan Whiteside.

According to Gospel Herald, ever since Mario exited the Miami Heat locker room for Memphis Grizzlies, it is now Hassan’s turn to face the deadly trade rumors. Hassan’s entry in the team was widely accepted as fans cheered on for him. His entry in the team was a good sign since LeBron James made a decision to head back to Cleveland Cavaliers.

Along with Chris Bosh, Hassan was the other big man in the team who would lead it to a good performance. Since these trade rumors went public, things have not been quite the same as there’s a possibility that if the rumor is true, Miami Heat would lose another good player.

Despite what the rumors are saying, Miami Heat President, Pat Riley decided to make a statement about this. Evidently sounding a bit unhappy, he stated that there is absolutely no truth in these rumors that have been going on about Hassan’s trade and despite what many newspapers have reported, he continues to be a valuable addition to Miami Heat. He further elaborated that no such discussions have taken place and he really wants to see which direction is the team headed to.

Basketball Insiders added that Whiteside’s selection in the Miami Heat has been a really good decision that Pat Riley made. The media outlet also reported that almost 87% of Whiteside’s shots are from 10 feet off the basket and he possesses a rare combination of size, strength and agility.

Hassan Whiteside too had good things to say about his team as he mentioned that his teammates make things easy for him, which in turn make him a dominant force for the team.
