NBA trade rumors claim that the Los Angeles Lakers might have secretly traded Jabari Parker of the Milwaukee Bucks. Is the rumor true? Read on for further details.
According to the Time Warner Cable Sportsnet, it seems that the Los Angeles Lakers might have secretly considered Milwaukee Bucks’ Jabari Parker as an addition to their young core.
However, The Cauldron tweeted, “This is not Jabari Parker, he is not a Laker.” Hence, there is a confusion regarding this rumor. Could it be Jabari Brown?
Might be, “they just messed up Jabari Brown’s name,” reported SB NATION about the NBA rumors relating to the Lakers’ secret trading of Parker.
The source had earlier reported on 30th September that Parker was not playing for the Bucks as he was recovering from his surgery on a torn left ACL. The player returned to the team in September, and completed his first full day of practice at the team’s camp.
On October 5, the same source reported that Parker would not play in the preseason opener in Chicago even though his performance in annual Bucks Fan Fest and open scrimmage was not disappointing. However, he is getting better. But, neither the player nor the team is going to rush anything.
Bleacher Report stated in June that the Lakers Shooting guard Jabari Brown could be the team’s biggest surprise next season. Brown is a solid guard with good ball-handling skills.
After playing successfully in the first 10-day contract, he gained the confidence of the Lakers coach Byron Scott to play for another 10 days. Both of his two 10-day contracts were successful, and the Lakers made a multiyear deal with Brown, reported Hoops Rumors.
The Shooting guard also proved himself again during the training camp. The team retained his D-League rights after the training camp. Brown became the D-League’s top scorer for the 2014-15 season, with an average score of 24.4 points per game.
Is the Los Angeles Lakers team secretly considering Jabari Brown for their Shooting guard, or eyeing Jabari Parker of Milwaukee Bucks? Even though there is no confirmation, what do you think? Share your views in the comments below.
