The NBA rumors suggested that the Miami Heat might trade their forward-center Chris Andersen following Mario Chalmers deal, while the Sacramento Kings might trade their center DeMarcus Cousins. Read on for further details.
It seems that the Miami Heat has not yet completed trading players even after making a deal with their point guard Mario Chalmers to the Memphis Grizzlies, according to Yibada. Following Chalmers deal, the Heat is planning for trading Chris Andersen.
Indeed, the best solution that the team has found out in decreasing their tax bill in 2016 is to trade players having expiring contracts such as Chalmers and Andersen.
The Heat might consider trading the “Birdman” to reduce their luxury bill as well as because of their strength at the frontcourt. Moreover, the team could consider replacing Andersen as they have highly talented Chris Bosh and Josh McRoberts.
While this has been the present trade rumors related to the Heat, Sports World Report pointed out that the Sacramento Kings might trade DeMarcus Cousins. However, there is least possibility that the trade might not happen.
It seems that Cousins blasted with George Karl, the head coach of the team, after losing a game against the Spurs. Actually, Karl decided to suspend Cousins. However, Vlade Divac, the president of the Kings, blocked Karl’s decision. Soon after the incident, Cousins apologized publically for his behavior through Yahoo! Sports. The outlet added that everything happened as he was “frustrated with losing.”
We can conclude that there is more possibility that the Miami Heat might trade Chris Andersen, while there is least chance that the Sacramento Kings might trade DeMarcus Cousins.
