While we reported few days before that there is least chance that the Sacramento Kings might trade their center DeMarcus Cousins, the most recent NBA rumors about the player suggested that the Kings are willing to trade Cousins to the Los Angeles Lakers. Read on to know more details.
Some rumors suggested that the Kings are demanding more and the Lakers offering more in order to make this Cousins trade happen. According to Boston Herald, the trade would be possible if the Los Angeles Lakers are ready to give up their point guard D’Angelo Russell and power forward Julius Randle in exchange for DeMarcus Cousins.
While Randle is a worthy developing starter, Russell is a highly skilled player. Hence, the deal considering Randle and Russell for Cousins would be ridiculous, reported YIBADA.
This trade might be a risk for the Lakers. The problem with this trade is not about the talent of Cousins, but with his attitude and the King’s demand. However, if the Lakers are ready to tackle the risk (attitude) and are interested with the King’s demand, there is possibility that the trade could happen. However, neither the Kings nor the Lakers have confirmed anything related to the trade.
Sports World Report reported earlier that the Kings might consider trading Cousins because of his unpleasant attitude. Actually, the head coach George Karl decided to suspend Cousins for blasting with him after losing a game against the San Antonio Spurs. However, the Cousins’ suspension did not happen because of Vlade Divac, the president of the Kings. Later, Cousins apologized for his behavior through Yahoo! Sports. Finally, everything seems to okay with Karl and Cousins.
