NBA Trade rumors suggest that the trade market is being studied by the Warriors and Marreese Speights has been struggling.
It has been a great struggle for the Warriors to score especially when Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Stephen Curry are off the action. Even Harrison Barnes’s absence from the team has not helped the team much.
Monte Poole of CSN Bay Area recently reported that Bob Myers who is the general manager of the team might be keeping his options open about the possibilities about the trade.
Golden State of Mind has opined that similar to a majority of the executives, Myers, the general manager of the Warriors does not like to discuss the possibility of the trade. But he must be realizing that with Green, Thompson, and Curry being presently off the floor, scoring for the team is tough.
According to NBA Trade Rumors, the team’s front office has been studying the trade market. Very soon if Speights is unable to get back his form, the Warriors might have to seek out for a player whom Kerr or Walton can beckon whenever they require a scoring punch.
However, despite the NBA Trade rumors, it makes sense not to overreact. After all, it is the job of any team’s general manager to carefully study the trade market and the report of Poole is not adequate enough to hint that the team is seriously shopping Speights. Adam Lauridsen, a blogger of San Jose Mercury News that it might be a possibility that the Warriors will show their interest to pursue a deal with none other than Channing Frye. Frye is regarded as a stretch big and might be apt for a post scorer’s role off the bench.
