NBC seems to be canceling more shows than usual and we really hope it’s for the better. If you are a fan of some NBC TV shows, then you might want to check what shows they are pulling the plug on in 2014. Read on to find out more about it as NBC cancels 6 shows including “Revolution” and “Community.”
According to TV Line, after only two seasons, NBC has cancelled “Revolution.” Along with that, the network has also cancelled “Growing Up Fisher,” “Believe,” “Crisis” and “Dracula.”
“Believe” and “Crisis” are two shows that debuted as part of NBC’s late midseason schedule and neither of them has finished airing its first and now last season. Both shows were axed from the network’s schedule last week (week of May 5, 2014) and there are no details about when the remaining episodes might air… if they will still air, that is.
It is also sad that “Dracula” has been burned after one season.
As for “Revolution,” it has now been axed after two seasons and sadly, there is no one request for a movie. At first the show was a hit after it took over “The Voice” time slot in Season 1, but as it ran its course, its ratings ran away. These results urged the network to move its schedule to Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. for Season 2, where the first few episodes were fine until the whole thing dwindled away during the second half of Season 2.
According to TV.com, “The Community” will be cut short too because it has also been cancelled after five seasons. Well, at least the show has gone this far. But, that’s part of the business of network television.
There you have it, the 6 shows that NBC has cancelled including “Revolution” and “The Community.” Again, the other cancelled NBC shows are “Growing Up Fisher,” “Believe,” “Crisis” and “Dracula.” What do you think of these shows being cancelled?
