NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 6 Episode 19 “Blaze of Glory” aired last Monday, Mar. 30, 2015 at 10:00 p.m. on CBS. In this episode, in order to capture the hackers who successfully hacked the navy, the team teamed up with a college intern who excelled at coding. They did it in order to infiltrate the anonymous hacker group that might have been responsible for the hack. Read on to learn more about this episode.

The episode began with a defense missile test gone wrong. The defense contractor for the Navy, ADRD had been hacked in order to target a pleasure craft along the coast of Ventura.

Los Angeles Police Detective Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and NCIS Special Agent Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) were sent to the mission control of ADRD. They discovered that one of their employees had been sent an email regarding a conference that didn’t exist. It allowed the hackers to capture his password and username. It was a problem, as the email could also have been sent to the Navy and to the military.

Meanwhile, NCIS Special Agent G Callen (Chris O’ Donnell) and NCIS Special Agent Sam Hanna (LL Cool J), along with the Coast Guard, recovered forty-eight vials of fentanyl in a waterproof briefcase. Thanks to Technical Operator Eric Beale (Barrett Foa) and Intelligence Analyst Nell Jones (Renee Felice Smith), they discovered that the boat belonged to a dentist named Dr. Stanley Maslow (Aaron Lustig).

Maslow then informed them that he had last left the boat at Marina del Rey, that the fentanyl was used for a volunteer program, and that his son often used the boat. However, it turned out that his son, Wyatt (Travis Tope), was safe. However, Sam and G didn’t believe his story and staked out his house. After a while, a young Asian woman gave the dentist a package and drove off, with Sam and G following. However, they lost her after they were mistakenly stopped by the police.

Meanwhile, Kensi and Deeks talked to Wyatt. He told them that his only enemy was his ex-roommate, a messy hacker named Josh Pettiford (Jack Foley). They then went to his dorm room. Kensi’s thumb drive ended up in smoke after she tried to use it to open his laptop.

Back at the NCIS headquarters, Nell and Eric informed them that they would have to infiltrate the anonymous hacker group, Disavow, that Josh belonged to. Because of this, Operations Manager Henrietta “Hetty” Lange (Linda Hunt) brought in college intern Blaze Talcott (Becca Tobin), who had a standing job offer at the FBI’s Cyber Division when she graduated. Eric immediately took a liking to her, much to Nell’s annoyance.

Meanwhile, Sam and G tracked down the young woman, Malee Vipada (Michelle Ang), a Thai studying theater, to the Marionette Theater, much to Sam’s dismay, as he hated puppets. Malee then told them that she was Wyatt’s girlfriend. Shehad dropped off some his blueprints and that Josh had tried to flirt with her by taking pictures of himself on her phone.

Back at headquarters, Eric created a fake room so that Blaze could chat with Josh and was invited to play chess with him near the bay, where he tested her code writing skills. She then learned that the leader of the group was a man named Isaac, whom they had never met. Kensi and Deeks then posed as a newlywed couple in order to plant a tracker in Josh’s backpack and to get his prints. However, Blaze’s backpack was stolen, and she was taken away to Disavow’s headquarters.

There, Kensi and Deeks distracted Josh with a bicycle accident so that Blaze could get into his laptop, where she discovered the email that contained the hacking software. However, Eric discovered that Isaac, who had been fighting with Josh, who was attracting more members to his side, as he wanted to use hacking to send a political statement, had framed him. They then discovered that Isaac was Wyatt and brought him in.

Wyatt then informed them that he had done it as Malee had asked him to defend him as Josh had almost raped her, which wasn’t true. They then discovered that Malee was an Indonesian who wanted access to military codes. Her family had been members of a group that bombed the stock exchange and had been killed. They then raced to Maslow’s house as Wyatt had hid the hard drive with the software in his father’s safe. It was only to discover that Maslow had been killed and that Blaze had been kidnapped by Malee.

However, Sam and G managed to rescue Blaze and chased Malee out to a park, where she ended up getting shot and killed.

Afterwards, they celebrated with milkshakes. Eric slipped away to meet up with Blaze, who made him talk to her father instead of her. Afterwards, he apologized to Nell as she had been annoyed at his attachment towards Nell, and she taught him how to fly the newly retrofitted drone, which he later crashed.
