NCIS: New Orleans” Season 1 Episode 17 “ More Now” aired last Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 9:00 p.m. on CBS. In this episode, the entire team raced against time to help NCIS Special Agent Dwayne “King” Pride (Scott Bakula) bring his nemesis, Paul Jenks (John Livingston), also known as “Baitfish” to justice, only to make a shocking discovery as to who truly runs the show. Read on to learn more about this episode.

At the New Orleans headquarters, NCIS Special Agent Meredith “Merri” Brody (Zoe McLellan) and NCIS Special Agent Christopher La Salle (Lucas Black) entered NCIS Special Agent Dwayne “King” Pride (Scott Bakula) room after they couldn’t find him, only to realize that he had a “wall of crazy” on Paul Jenks (John Livingston), also known as “Baitfish”.

NCIS Special Agent Dwayne “King” Pride (Scott Bakula) was in South Carolina, because of the murders of Dr. Freddie Barlow (Rhes Low) and girlfriend Pam Shore (Ashton Leigh) and told the detective in charge of the crime scene that they had been murdered by Baitfish, and stole Barlow’s cellphone’s memory card before returning to New Orleans, where he had NCIS Special Agent Patton Plame (Daryll Mitchell) dig into it.

Inside his room, Pride told them that he had discovered he suspected Jenks to be behind a series of murders. He had murdered Lester DelRay with whom he stayed with and changed his hair color, then stole his car and murdered Brandon Harvey who forged new identification papers for him, and then murdered Barlow, an orthopedist, whom he had visisted. He then sent the two to the Fourth Street Clinic, a free and urgent care clinic as Barlow had called it seven times before he died, and he went over to the morgue.

At the morgue, Dr. Loretta Wade (CCH Pounder) told him that she was worried about him, and Sebastian Lund (Rob Kerkovich) told him that there was no ballistic match in the bullets found. However, Loretta promised to help out if he could get her access to Barlow’s body.

At the free clinic, a woman got out of the clinic fast, brushing past La Salle, and the nurse in charge told them that Barlow worked at the clinic twice a week.

Back at the headquarters, Patton discovered that Barlow had been sent cryptic emails warning him about Jenks from an unknown phone from Slydell State Penitentiary. There, Pride confirmed that Frank Broussard (Chad Addision) had sent the emails, and Pride told him that he would make a deal to exonerate him with the charges on the bombing of the gala, as Jenks was the true culprit, in exchange for everything he knew about Jenks.

Afterwards, he paid a visit to Sasha Broussard (Callie Thorne), who wasn’t happy about this development.

At the laboratory, they learned that the doctor had chemical burns in his lungs and throat consistent with that of someone who cooked and dealt drugs. They also discovered that the same homemade silencer had been used in all three murders, linking them together. Brody then tried to get Pride to eat, but he got a call informing him that Frank had been murdered in a spot where no one could see him.

At Slydell, Brody interrogated Red Carter, the man who claimed to have done it, but she realized that he was lying.

Back at the headquarters, they realized that the Fourth Street Clinic was in Frank’s territory. They then went over to the clinic, and discovered that it was empty. There was a girl, who ran away. After they caught her, they discovered that she was ATF Agent Sonja Percy (Shalita Grant), who was undercover. She gave them some files and told them that Jenks had a financier, a man named Leoni. She also told them that Frank must have been the one who had tipped Barlow off and that the clinic was a drug front. Later, they raided the other free clinics as they discovered that all the clinics were just fronts, and all managed by the same big real estate corporation. They also discovered that it had all been cleared out. Because of this, they deduced that Jenks, who wanted to rebuild the Broussard empire, already had one in place.

Afterwards, Brody realized that only a prison guard could have had access to the area where Frank was killed, and went after Officer Bill Lorna, only to discover that he was on his way to kill Sasha, who managed to shoot him dead. They then managed to get the address of their headquarters as they posed as Bill Lorna. Pride went after the truck that had left the place, only to discover that Sonja was finally in on the inside. The two then decided to work together to get Jenks as he had been tipped off.

Later that night, Pride realized that the contracts for the Latendale Group that was left inside Sasha’s room had the logo of a lion’s head, which translated to Leoni. After looking into it, they realized that Sasha was the only shareholder of the group. Pride then met up with Sonja, and told her to get enough evidence to send both Sasha and Jenks to prison.
