“Oliver Queen is dead.” They’ve said it again, but this time, Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) appears to have delivered the news to Oliver’s team. Yes he’s dead, and we’re all wondering what’s going to happen next. Read on for more details to this promo update.
Lights out. The light vanishes, and after that, a time of stillness takes place before a storm emerges that’s outrageously encompassing. In the mid-season finale of The CW’s “Arrow,” the last image of Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) was of him lying on his back, lifeless, after being pierced by Ra’s al Ghul’s (Matt Nable) blade and falling over the edge of the cliff. The series is nearing its come-back after the midseason break, and the network is spicing things up as to what happens next when the show returns.
Comic Book Movie posted the 20-second promo of “Arrow,” and it is adrenalin spiking. They posted the official synopsis of the episode, and things are definitely not looking up for Team Arrow.
The team will continue to protect the city despite the Arrow’s absence. However, when days passed without hearing from Oliver, the team worries that something could have happened to him. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) refuses to believe that Oliver could possibly be gone until Merlyn (John Barrowman) visits them. Moreover, Thea (Willa Holland) asks Merlyn for a favor as she is suspecting that there is more to what happened with Oliver. Meanwhile, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) suits up as Black Canary.
The upcoming episode is written by Marc Guggenheim and Erik Oleson and is directed by Glen Winter.
Without a doubt, Oliver’s presence might be lessened on this midseason premiere, and Hypable highlighted that the opening episode will be more focused on the supporting characters. “Arrow” Season 3 Episode 10 “Left Behind” will premiere on The CW on Wednesday at 8:00 p.m.
