Tension has been reportedly bearing down on Bruce Jenner’s shoulders since the past few week as he is held responsible for a car accident which caused one fatality. But fortunately for him, new evidence found during the investigation may have just saved him.

A car accident that happened on Saturday, Feb. 7 left several injured and one dead. And the one suspected to be the cause of the accident was Bruce Jenner. According to previous reports, he first hit a car which led to it moving up to another lane and getting hit by another car. Then, Jenner went on to hit another car in front of him.

As it turned out, the driver of the first car he hit was that of the dead victim. Because of this, Jenner could be facing prison under manslaughter charges. But fortunately for him, new evidence came up which showed a likely breath of fresh air for him for now.

According to TMZ, the police were able to get data from Jenner’s car to find out that he was only traveling at a relatively slow pace of between 46 and 47 mph when he suddenly slammed the brakes, possibly because of the car in front of him. It was possible that Jenner didn’t notice that the other cars backed up because of the traffic light and ended up with him braking at the last minute. Although, police also added that he wasn’t using a cellphone during that time.

Though Jenner did break a traffic rule in coming in too close with another vehicle, it has now seemed rather unlikely that he will be charged with the death of one of the drivers, who also happened to be his neighbour.

As of the moment, investigations on the accident are coming to a close. Afterwards, the reports will be written and submitted for review to the Los Angeles County D.A. And due to the recent evidence found, the Sheriff’s Department is not likely going to prosecute Jenner.
