Just a few hours after a big “The Flash” announcement was made, the CW network show dropped a new trailer for the back half of season two, which gives fans and viewers a glimpse of what to expect when the show returns. Aside from this, the trailer also answers several speculations, and also gives rise to new questions. WARNING: This article will contain spoilers for the rest of the second season of “The Flash”.

Fans of “The Flash” are getting a delightful Christmas treat, as not only one, but two big revelations have just been revealed.

Earlier, it was announced that the Earth Two version of the Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher) will be returning to the series. However, it wasn’t elaborated on how he will be returning.

According to Comic Book Resources, the new trailer for the second season offers little information regarding this, but it did debut a better and more detailed glimpse into Earth Two, including a first look at Caitlin Snow’s (Danielle Panabaker) Killer Frost, and Earth Two versions of Iris West (Candice Patton) and Barry Allen (Grant Gustin).

The new trailer shows two distinct worlds, which are distinguished from each other as the Earth Two parts are lit up in washed yellow tone.

This trailer also offered close-up glimpses of Earth Two Barry and Caitlin, who were wearing the same costumes as they were reportedly seen by YVR Shoots earlier this month, when they were shooting the Earth Two scenes in Vancouver.

The trailer shows Caitlin’s Killer Frost saying that being a villain is better; and it shows Iris holding Barry’s chin, while looking at him suspiciously.

It also featured the Reverse-Flash returning to Central City; and Zoom kidnapping Detective Patty Spivot (Shantel VanSanten).

The trailer also mentioned that “everything will change” soon; and features Detective Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) agreeing with his son, Wally West (Keinyan Lonsdale), that everything in Central City is “pretty messed up”.

How do you think the Reverse-Flash will return to Central City? Are you excited to meet the Earth Two versions of the main characters of the show? Are you excited to finally see Caitlin Snow’s Killer Frost?  Let us know what you think in the comments below!
