New ‘Gotham’ Season 2 Promo: An Influx of New and Old Villains [Watch Video]

The new group of villains in “Gotham” Season 2 seems to be a more cohesive batch compared to the last one. Jim Gordon’s small victory in Season 1 doesn’t end things and the power struggle in the city continues in the new promo for the upcoming season of the series. New antagonists plan to rise above and take over while the infamous rogues evolve. Read on for more details.

According to Collider, “Gotham” Season 2 promo doesn’t feature much of the heroes. However, it was definitely full of Gotham’s villains including Penguin, Cat and Riddler. We also caught a glimpse of the new antagonists Theo Galavan and Tabitha aka Tigress.

The Season 2 of “Gotham” will shed light on the Galavan siblings. These two will play one of the key roles for this season but also, one of the things that fans are looking forward to is Joker’s rise to power. The early beginnings of The Joker will be seen in the new season of the series. Meanwhile, no one has confirmed yet whether Mr. Freeze, Clayface and the Mad Hatter will be seen this season.

The new batch of villains in “Gotham” makes the series even more interesting than the first. There are so much to look forward to, a lot of stories to explore and a lot of characters to still evolve. Amidst everything that’s happening in “Gotham,” how can a Jim Gordon and a growing Bruce Wayne handle all of these? Everyone’s out to get one and the hunger for power has intensified.
