Noah is one of the most well-known tales which follows the surviving remnants of the human race living in a post-apocalyptic world. The time when much of the land has been demolished and there is a situation of constant war all around, but it’s not clear when the film takes place. The director, Darren Aronofsky, earlier said that this Biblical epic film could be set in any time sort of like a thousand years in the future or a thousand years in the past.
The film stars Academy Award-winner Russell Crowe as Noah who plays the devout man given an advance word by God that the flood is coming. He then builds a great arc before that apocalyptic flood comes and destroys the earth.
The newly-unveiled international trailer offers a few shots of the world just right before God unleashes a wrathful flood as a means of tidying up (devastating the world). It has rearranged the money shots from the previous trailer condensing the most evocative imagery from the film. The latest promo comes with somewhat erratic-style striking visuals of the beginning flood that look really tremendous. With Aronofsky playing on such a gigantic scale, the movie seems to be a strange beast.
Now let’s see if the actual movie could grab all the attention that it’s gotten with its previews. With that said, check out the trailer below and share your opinions!
