Pop star Justin Bieber is headlining the Fusion Festival in Birmingham in the U.K. this August. Bieber returns to perform across the pond two years after his controversial show.

According to BBC, the 21 year old performer will be performing at the Cofton Park in Birmingham along with DJ Fresh, Tinie Tempah, Fuse ODG, Rixton, Rudimental and McBusted.

“I love the UK and I’m excited to be playing at Fusion this year. There are some great artists on the line-up so to headlining the Friday night is a real honor,” said Justin Bieber in a statement.

He also tweeted that he has missed performing on stage and he’s excited to get back to work.

Back in 2013, the Canadian artist had his very first show at the O2 Arena in London, but the event was marred by some controversies. It was reported that the “Baby” singer arrived late to his own show that some of his younger fans could no longer wait for him. They left early and missed his performance.

On another night, Bieber apparently dropped out of the show mid-performance, citing he was not feeling well. He also had a run-in with a paparazzi outside his London hotel, and later on, Bieber explained on twitter that he allowed these photographers to get to him.

His return to perform for the British should be different this time around as the young star is reportedly on the path to reformation and has found a better way to cope with his fame and celebrity status. With a better outlook, Bieber declared in a radio interview following the announcement of his festival appearance that people should be seeing a “new JB.”

“I’ve been working a lot in the studio… working a lot in the dance studio… and I’m ready to get back out there and give love to the fans,” Justin Bieber said via Capital FM Radio.

The Fusion Festival tickets will go on sale beginning March 27. The event, which is the biggest pop event in Birmingham, will take place on August 28, 29 and 30. Part of the proceeds of the ticket sales will go to charity.
