According to GAMERANT, the new “Ratchet & Clank” trailer was perhaps the most impressive one among the various trailers for the PlayStation 4 released by Sony during their press conference at Paris Games Week.
The new trailer, which highlighted the remake of the original video game, revealed jaw-dropping & stunning visuals as well as many gameplay sequences that were missing in the original game. Few of the gameplay sequences included in the remake include new platforming sections for Clank, explosive spaceship battle, and new boss fights.
The 2016 “Ratchet & Clank” remake video game is based on the story of the upcoming movie of the same name.
The first trailer for the upcoming “Ratchet & Clank” movie would show Captain Qwark as a competent & legitimate hero, while the remake game trailer would show him as a “bumbling idiot.”
Indeed, people who are familiar with the franchise know that Captain Qwark is typically a “bumbling idiot.” Might be the film makers are hiding that side of his character now, and perhaps his true character would be revealed at some point in the movie.
IGN reported that the “Ratchet and Clank” PS4 is more than just a simple remake of the 2002 original video game.
According to Wikipedia entry, Insomniac Games develops this upcoming platformer video game, and Sony Computer Entertainment would publish it.
The “Ratchet and Clank” remake game that was initially set to be released in 2015 on PlayStation 4, is scheduled to be released in Spring 2016. The exact date of release is not yet revealed.
