Showing thousands of  ‘the First Order’ soldiers lined a deadly array in front of Gwendoline Christie’s character, ‘Captain Phasma’, things are getting real in “Star Wars episode VII.” Though director J. J. Abrams hasn’t told us what ‘the First Order’ actually is, and whether it is the revamped imperial army, they do not look like they are up to any good, via HollywoodLife.

Though the rest of the trailer mainly re-uses footage from the old trailers, it has some sweet shots of X-Wing fighters being flown through swamps and the Millennium Falcon engaged in a high speed chase through a derelict spacecraft. And a mysterious figure in a helmet reminiscent of Jango Fett seems to be chasing down Han Solo. There is also a rather significant shot of a lightsaber being handed down.

The news comes in the wake of recent photo leaks from the North London sets of “Star Wars VII,” showing Stormtroopers having a little break and relaxing with the crew. Read the Movie News Guide report for more information.

The movie unites “Star Wars” series actors Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Carrie Fisher (Leia Skywalker) and Harrison Ford (Han Solo) with newcomers John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver and Oscar Isaac.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” hits the screens on Dec. 18, 2015.
