“Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens” has finally made its way to the small screen via an official spot for the movie.
The 30-second footage at this moment gives extra screen time on the characters of Daisy Ridley (Rey) and Harrison Ford (Han Solo) along with familiar scenes from the earlier footages. Adding more excitement is the featuring of an unfamiliar female voice which would seem to be from a new character which stated: “I have lived long enough to see the same eyes in different people.”
A version can be found here in Youtube via Joblo Movie Trailers.
Netizens immediately gave their comments as the channel gave their theory that the owner of the voice belonged to none other than Lupita Nyong’o:
Pelege Antoine stated, “it looks like it”; while Julio Martinez concurred the sentiment with, “was thinking the same thing”; while 80MWH was in two minds with, “It sounds like she’s our Yoda of the films…but I wish she didn’t sound like a cross between Mama Odie and a crazy cat-lady.”
The 23-year-old Ridley admitted recently that she has been walking in eggshells as the premiere date for the seventh installment of the “Star Wars” franchise is already looming.
“I’m going to curl up on a ball and cry, and hope people like me,” Ridley revealed in an interview via Cinema Blend.
Her fellow “Star Wars” newbie actor, John Boyega was more composed when inquired on what he will do on the day their movie will finally be shown on theaters stating that he “will be at the local cinema with fans that have waited so long.”
Mark Hamill, who will be reprising his role as Luke Skywalker along with Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia, has been a no-show in all of the promotional videos as the character has been omitted with intent according to The Guardian.
