Nicki Minaj released a 16-minute painfully heartbreaking movie to go along with her newly released “The Pinkprint” album, which is said to be inspired by her breakup with Safaree Samuels. Read on for more details.
Seems like Minaj went through a lot during her 14-year relationship with ex Samuels. Although the singer’s 16-minute movie was all about heartaches, Minaj's recent tweets seem to be full of anger and hatred.
Days after Samuels was reported to be “suicidal” over Minaj's brewing romance with Meek Mill, the singer posted her sentiments on Twitter:
“Even when I try to protect ppl, they still try to take advantage of me. Haven’t u learned that God is in control? Stop while you’re ahead.”
The "Anaconda" singer went on, “Anything you don’t appreciate will be taken. God sees your ungrateful evil soul. I gave and gave and gave. Threatening me? Blackmail? Jump.”
Is Samuels blackmailing Minaj? Or is it blackmailing her in terms of him committing suicide for her alleged relationship with Meek Mill?
Though Minaj didn’t really mention Samuels on her tweets, her mom Carol also sent a tweet on the same day directly mentioning Samuels in it.
“Safaree when you take on Nicki you take on me and the host of heaven.. Stop while you can SB!” Carol tweeted.
Samuels was quick to react to the tweets and defended himself on Twitter.
“im doing interviews about my s–t and s–t im promoting.. not 1 thing said im doing interviews about nicki. yall sound ridiculous."
"and speaking to some1 about pub and splits isnt blackmail. stop looking for pitty.. u handle your buisness why cant i? and its not Bout fame its about respect and youve had 0 for me the pass few years.the 0 respect u had for me at home had nothing 2do w/music,” Samuels continued.
Samuels also tweeted that he knows that the public would sympathize more and believe whatever Minaj says simply because she’s famous.
“I cant believe were doin dis. We use 2 laugh at ppl 4 this,” Samuels ended.
We don’t know the details yet of what happened between Samuels and Minaj that lead to these Twitter blasts.
“I don’t even know how I’m going to function without that person in my life. I don’t think people realize it’s not just a breakup, that was a humongous part of my life,” the "Anaconda" singer said in a recent interview with DJ Angie Martinez of Power 105.
