It looks like we are getting another royal wedding but not from the royals of England but from the Hilton empire! Nicky Hilton is planning to get married to banking heir James Rothschild at the Kensington Palace.
The 31-year old-hotel heiress will tie the knot on July 10, 2015 at the palace’s Orangery, within the Kensington Gardens. Kensington Palace is the home of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
In fact, the Orangery where Nicky will get married has always been a popular wedding venue. It was built in 1704 to house Queen Anne’s orange trees and the venue can hold 300 people. Will the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge be there for their wedding? Unfortunately, no because as of the moment the royal couple is living at Anmer Hall, Queen Elizabeth’s estate in Norfolk, England.
Rothschild asked the fashion designer to marry him in August 2014 at Lake Como. They have been dating since 2011. If one can remember, this isn’t Nicky’s first marriage because she already got married in 2004 to Todd Meister, however, their relationship didn’t last very long.
The news of Nicky’s wedding venue resurfaced after her parents Rick and Kathy won the bid to move their son’s hearing in New York City to stop the court date clashing with the wedding. Conrad Hilton pleaded guilty to common assault after his outburst on a flight from London to Los Angeles last summer of 2014.
