The real life and on-screen romance between Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev may have been one of the main causes of huge success of “The Vampire Diaries,” but now their enmity has raised a lot of questions for the success of its sequel. We had updated you Dobrev’s exit from “The Vampire Diaries,” but a new rumor has surfaced that Somerhalder is pondering over quitting the show. But why is he planning to quit when Dobrev is not playing against him in the series? Read on for more details.
Somerhalder is said to have been looking for another acting opportunity mainly in the film industry. News Everyday has reported that he is highly interested to play the role of Jack Hyde, a villain in the upcoming erotica romance movie “Fifty Shades Darker.” However, the blame for planning to quit “The Vampire Diaries” directly goes to his wife Reed. She is reportedly feeling a threat of the on-screen intimate reunion of her husband and his ex-girlfriend as she thinks that Dobrev could come back in the show.
Fans and media outlets have created a buzz that Reed is highly jealous of Dobrev, out of which she is pressurizing him to quit “The Vampire Diaries” and join the sequel of “Fifty Shades of Grey,” so that everyone can discuss about his new role without linking him to his ex Dobrev.
Rumor also surfaced that Somerhalder was eager to become a father but Reed wanted to concentrate on her career. However, in a recent conversation with ET Online, he talked about “practice” when he was asked if he wanted to become a dad.
“You know, it’s all about practice… It’s not practice makes perfect – it’s perfect practice,” Somerhalder said.
The newlywed is not having children right now, but they are known for parenting nine animals and sharing the photographs of their love for pets on social media. It seems the couple is practicing the process of parenting and they will soon plan for the real happening.
