Fans of “Now You See Me” movie will be pleased to know that the film’s producers are planning to do a second instalment to the film, set to premiere on June 2015.  There’s more to this as the studio has started to work for “Now You See Me 3” at the same time.

According to Yahoo! Movies, Lionsgate is already developing the idea for a “Now You See Me 3” movie almost a year before the second movie makes it to the theatre. It is being done so that the studio can focus on franchises.

The decision came to light when the company was holding conference calls with its analysts over quarterly earnings. It is being reported that CEO Jon Feltheimer made the decision during the same. He also added that early planning for the third movie has already begun and Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine along with Lizzy Caplan who replaced Isla Fisher have already completed shooting “Now You See Me 2”. All of the above characters excluding Lizzy Caplan will be reprising their roles in the second part.

Lizzy Caplan had to replace Isla Fisher because she was expecting her third child with husband Sacha Baron Cohen and hence couldn’t shoot for the second instalment. The previous movie that saw a mind blowing twist in the end will certainly be able to pull audiences again in the theatres and will present some tremendous performances again with the next one. Jon M Chu will be directing the sequel and Ed Solomon has written the script. Lionsgate hopes to establish yet another franchise with its already successful “Hunger Games”, “Divergent” and “Twilight” franchises.
