Official Armed for Combat Batmobile Photo from ‘Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice Released’

With “Batman v. Superman” coming, an unofficial picture of the Batmobile leaked online on Wednesday. “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” helmer Zack Snyder then tweeted an image of the real Batmobile later that day, and it is a bad-ass! Read on to learn more about this scoop.

With all the fan photos of the Bat-mobile circling online, director Zack Snyder finally decides to reveal what the famed ride looks like by tweeting,

“Here’s a real picture of the #Batmobile. 

Entertainment Weekly then cracked the specs of the Dark Knight’s ride.

The Batmobile was also featured in previous “Batman” films, such as “Batman” and “Batman Returns,” and was built on a Chevy Impala chassis with a long, low and sleek design featuring its signature afterburner housed in the back. In “Batman Forever,” “Batman & Robin” and in Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight” trilogy, the mobile much more resembled a four-wheeled tank.

“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Ben Affleck as BruceWayne/Batman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane returning from “Man of Steel,” Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film.

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is written by Chris Terrio, from a screenplay by David S. Goyer. Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder are producing, with Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Wesley Coller, David S. Goyer and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers. “Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is directed by Zack Snyder, who also directed the pic “Man of Steel”.
